Scott Sakata, O.D.

Dr. Scott Sakata is a licensed optometrist in California and certified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases. Originally from the Bay Area, he earned a bachelor of science in Exercise Biology at UCDavis. After graduation, Dr. Sakata attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. He is trained in primary care optometry and contact lenses. Dr. Sakata completed his clinical rotations at The Eye Institute of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Silicon Valley Eye Associates, San Jose VA Hospital, Fenway Health in Boston and NVISION Laser Eye Centers in San Diego. Dr. Sakata has experience in fitting soft, scleral and RGP contact lenses. He enjoys fitting soft contact lenses including daily multifocal lenses.

In his spare time, Dr. Sakata plays basketball, snowboards and enjoys mountain biking. He is also an avid Warriors, 49ers and USA soccer fan.
